Every item is made using the best and most unique
hardwood I can find, and everything I make is made with
food safe adhesives and finishes.
Wood has character. Wood has soul. Treat it with respect, and it will do the same for you.
Wooden cutting boards are healthier than plastic cutting boards. Plastic boards hold on to bacteria with every single knife cut, wood actually kills
bacteria naturally. The fibers pulled germs down and destroyed them. Plastic boards dull knives faster because the surface bites back.
Wood is gentle on the blade the fibers close back up. Sharper knives cleaner cuts every single time.

Care
Season your board with mineral oil or board butter once a month. Let one coat soak in overnight, and it will stay waterproof, crack-free, and looking brand new for decades

Washing
Never soak a wooden board in water. Water warps and cracks the wood. Quickly wash dried standing up, and move on.

Stains and
Smells
Simply use lemon and coarse salt, rubbing across the surface. Let it sit for five minutes, rinse it off stains and odor are gone completely. Sanitize without a single chemical

Repair
Got a deep knife, groove sand it down with fine-grit sandpaper, re-oil it, and the board is basically brand new.
About John
John started woodworking in the Junior High School wood shop in 1962. He has a T-square that he made back then hanging on his shop wall. (And it’s still square)He got his college degree in Scenic, Lighting, and Costume Design and worked at the college radio station.
By the time he graduated, radio had taken over his life. He did radio and some TV for the next 48 years. Two years before his retirement and his induction into the National Radio Hall of Fame, John started woodworking again.
